Amateur video shot by a passenger at Munich’s airport shows a plane catching fire and passengers fleeing the burning aircraft.
Those who left from the back of the plane used a stairwell to escape, but passengers nearer the front were seen leaping down onto the runway.
The passenger who shot the video was sitting in a nearby plane and took it through the window.
A Munich airport spokesman said the plane’s left carriage briefly caught fire and was put out within two seconds. No cause for the incident has been discovered yet and no-one was reported injured.
