A New Zealand air force plane is searching the Pacific Ocean for 29 Taiwanese fishermen after their burnt-out boat was found adrift north of Fiji.
The men have been missing since October 28.
The New Zealand air force says the search was launched after the Taiwanese long line boat was spotted with no-one on board and all its life rafts gone.
The Orion aircraft will cover around 54,000 square kilometres of ocean around the Phoenix Islands, a group of atolls belonging to Kiribati.
Around a third of the area has already been searched with no trace of the missing men.
